– About James

James grew up in Warragul and was educated at St Paul’s Anglican Grammar School. He commenced his legal career working as a Court Registrar in the Moe and Melbourne Magistrates’ Courts, before spending a number of years working at the Australian Consulate-General in Hong Kong.

Returning to Australia in 2014, James studied law at Deakin University. He completed his law degree and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 2018 and was admitted to practice in 2019. Upon his admission he commenced working  as a solicitor, primarily in criminal law.

James joined Wakefield, Vogrig & Boote in July 2022. He is an experienced court advocate and assists our clients in the areas of criminal law, intervention orders, Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal Applications, wills and estates and litigation.
