Scott MacDonald

– About Scott

Scott MacDonald joined our firm in early 2018 and brings a wide array of legal experience.  After graduating from secondary school, Scott began his career working as a Registrar at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.  Over a sixteen-year period he worked at various metropolitan, suburban and regional courts.

During Scott’s career within the Court he was exposed to many areas of law including Criminal Law, Intervention Orders, Children’s Court, and civil matters.  He would act as Mediator any many civil disputes.

Throughout this time, Scott realised that he would like to become a lawyer, and while continuing to work full time, he studied law.  Over the years, he graduated from Deakin University with a Law Degree in 2016, undertook the Professional Practice Course with Australian National University in 2017, and was then admitted to practice as a solicitor in June 2017.

Scott looks after clients in a large variety of matters, and is kept very busy within our firm advocating for and representing clients in Court most days of the week.

Scott is particularly experienced in criminal law, traffic matters, intervention orders, victims of crime matters, debt recovery matters, neighbourhood disputes, and family law matters.

The firm welcomed Scott as a Partner on 1 July 2020.
