Property & Conveyancing
Purchase of Land
– Purchase of Land
Whether you are buying your first home, first farm, a holiday house, a fixer-upper or land off the plan to build, upsizing or downscaling, expanding your portfolio to rent to a commercial tenant, or moving to an over 55s village, every contract is unique and you deserve the attention of our highly experienced conveyancers. We will guide you through the process and take control of the technical aspects to give you peace of mind.
Buying property is exciting and it can be tempting to just jump right in, however, we strongly recommend that you contact our office before you sign any Contract of Sale of Real Estate to obtain our advice before you get locked in. Perhaps there are issues you have not considered such as stamp duty exemptions/concessions, easements or other restrictions, loopholes that only benefit the Vendor, the consequences of any leases, whether your finances are in order, and the taxation consequences of same. Some of these items cannot be fixed after you sign on the dotted line and your hard-earned savings might be at risk. Call us to arrange an appointment or email the Contract through to firstname.lastname@example.org.
When preparing the Contract, the Real Estate Agent will ask for the name of your conveyancer/solicitor. If you want to have confidence in professional service and a stress-free transaction, tell the agent you have chosen Wakefield Vogrig & Boote Lawyers, and the Contract will make its way to us. You will then receive the benefit of our many decades of local property knowledge.
